1. Start with clean hair. Wash your clients hair or have your client wash their hair with a clarifying shampoo such a Graham Webb Visibility Clarifying Shampoo , Terax/ Latte Clarifying Shampoo, or Back to Basic/ Citrus Sage Clarifying Shampoo for all hair types. Do not condition.
2. Dry hair and make hair smooth, using a flat iron if necessary.
3. If hair is a blunt cut, you may need to taper the ends with a razor or thinning shears so the ends blend well and you cannot see the line.
